Living Luxe Design Show Returns to Toronto in 2026

The Living Luxe Design Show (LLDS), widely recognized as Canada’s most prestigious luxury design event, is making its definitive return to the city, officially scheduled to unfold from April 16 to 19 at the Toronto Congress Centre. Presented by JennAir, this four-day experience transcends the conventional trade show format by creating a holistic and immersive environment where the worlds of interior design, high fashion, fine art, real estate, and hospitality converge. It is poised to unite the nation’s foremost designers, architects, builders, and artists with an exclusive selection of top-tier luxury brands. The event is meticulously curated to present a comprehensive vision for the future of luxury living, offering attendees an unparalleled opportunity to engage with innovation and creativity on a grand scale. This edition promises a significant expansion, introducing new programming and a dedicated platform designed to spotlight emerging designers, strategically placing new talent alongside established industry icons for a dynamic exchange of ideas and perspectives that will shape the industry for years to come.

A Vision of Expanded Horizons

This year’s iteration is set to offer a profoundly enriched experience, introducing new immersive programming and a dedicated platform to spotlight the next generation of creative talent. According to co-founder Jennifer Lipkowitz, the show is meticulously designed to provide a comprehensive look at the evolution of luxury in Canada, moving beyond static displays to foster genuine interaction and inspiration. Attendees can anticipate a series of engaging, multi-sensory experiences, including breathtaking immersive installations conceived by renowned artist Max Jamali and a gallery of custom art displays curated by Amer SM. A central feature of this expanded vision is a dynamic fashion runway, sponsored by Yorkville Custom Homes and Richview Landscape. Produced in close collaboration with the Toronto Fashion Academy, the runway will serve as a vibrant stage for daily presentations from a roster of international designers, seamlessly integrating haute couture with interior aesthetics to underscore the interconnectedness of all facets of a luxurious lifestyle.

Industry Titans Take the Stage

A core element of the show’s appeal is its influential lineup of keynote speakers, who will anchor a series of curated panels and thought-provoking discussions centered on creativity, innovation, and the global future of luxury. Among the luminaries scheduled to appear is Lori Morris, the celebrated founder of Lori Morris Design. Known for her distinctive “no-rules” approach, Morris has built a reputation for crafting original, art-driven, and completely bespoke interiors that defy conventional categorization. In addition to her speaking engagement, Morris will also design a unique, must-see booth for the show in an exclusive partnership with Lancaster Custom Cabinetry. She is joined by Ali Budd, President and Principal Designer of Ali Budd Interiors, a luxury firm renowned for its highly personalized residential projects across the globe. Budd’s influential work has been featured in prestigious publications like Vogue Living, she hosts the popular show “House of Ali” on Hulu, and was recently named House & Home’s 2024 Designer of the Year, making her a definitive voice in contemporary design.

A Confluence of Creative Forces

Rounding out the slate of distinguished speakers was Karim Rashid, an internationally acclaimed designer whose prolific career includes over 4,000 designs in production and more than 400 prestigious awards. Renowned for his philosophy of “sensual minimalism,” Rashid’s work has become a part of permanent collections at cultural institutions such as MoMA and has been commissioned by iconic global brands including Alessi and Veuve Clicquot, bringing a truly global perspective to the event’s discourse. The show’s significant impact and industry-wide importance were further solidified by the robust support of its key partners. JennAir led the prestigious roster as the presenting, stage, and appliance sponsor. This strong foundation was bolstered by other industry leaders, with Kohler serving as the official plumbing sponsor, Khayeri Flooring as the flooring sponsor, and Lusso Modern Home as the furniture sponsor. This powerful coalition of brands and thought leaders ensured the event was not merely a showcase, but a pivotal forum that defined the trajectory of luxury living in Canada.
