The acquisition by Binghamton University officially marks the end of that chapter and the beginning of a new one focused on higher education and institutional growth. The majority of the four-acre site lies within the town of Vestal, though a small portion of the land involved in the transaction extends into the city of Binghamton, linking the property to both municipalities as it enters this new phase of its existence under university stewardship.

The physical transition from a corporate headquarters to a university asset began almost immediately, signaling the institution’s readiness to integrate the new property.
