As the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to upend everyday life, construction (for the most part) is considered an essential business but that doesn’t mean everything is business as usual. In addition to trying to protect workers, especially on jobsites where outbreaks are occurring, construction business owners are having to deal with the challenges of our new normal.
These include having projects being put on hold due to funding and financial uncertainty. Road construction and highway projects are being postponed due to a reduction of gas tax revenue caused by everyone staying at home.
