The American Concrete Institute is advancing its efforts to increase the use of concrete with the launch of its third “center of excellence.” PRO: An ACI Center of Excellence for Advancing Concrete Industry Productivity seeks to draw designers, material suppliers, contractors and other stakeholders together to collaborate on ways to improve design and construction methods, with an eye on speeding concrete projects.
Phil Diekemper, executive director of PRO, said in a statement that using concrete design to improve construction productivity “is the key to unlocking project value.”
