In May, the team announced that it had chosen PCL Construction as the general contractor for construction of the Gensler-designed stadium, which will feature a soccer museum, office and conference space, restaurants, retail and a semi-transparent canopy.
At the time of the announcement, team officials said the project would create 1,200 new construction jobs and 1,800 permanent jobs after the project is finished, with a 40% set-aside for local workers.
